Reminder for a Muslim
For a Muslim it is very much important that he should always keep in mind that this life and every breath of this life are controlled by Allah Almighty. Our every movement, every step and every work is controlled by our Lord. We should keep in mind the very soon freedom will be taken away from us. That day will come very soon when all will be in front of Allah Almighty. That day will be the Day of Judgment. At that Day the feet of our will not cease until he/she does not answer the four Questions. It is reported by Hazrat Abu Barzah al-Aslami radi Allahu anhu that our beloved Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) said that:-
"The two feet of the son of Aadam will not move from near his Lord on the Day of Judgement until he is asked about five (matters):- 1) about his life - how he spent it; 2) about his youth - how he took care of it; 3) about his wealth - how he earned it; and where he spent it; 4) and about that which he acted upon from the knowledge that he acquired." [At-Tirmidhi]
In this Hadith it is four things are mentioned. Four questions will be asked from us and we have to answer these Questions. At that day we will not be able to make a single lie.
1. Question about His/Her life
On the Day of Judgment we have to answer about our life that how did we spend our life? Did we spend our life according to the orders of our lord? Was the life devoted toward Allah Almighty? Here we can say that whatever we are doing in this life, Allah will asked about this on the day on judgment. So we should spend every moment of our life with extra care.
2. Question about His/her youth
Youth is a most important and powerful part of our life. It is the most challenging period of our life. One can easily go toward the right direction. But if the heart is full of Iman then person earns a lot of deeds it this period. So on the Day of Judgment about the period of youth Allah will ask that how someone used this powerful period.
3. Question about His/Her wealth
Many of us spend our whole life in collecting the wealth. But keep in mind that one day will come one you have to tell about each penny that from where you earned this penny and how did you spend this penny.
4. Question about His/Her Knowledge
Knowledge which we gain in our life has so much importance. The knowledge which we attain must practice it. It will be asked that did we practice it or not?
Keep in mind that there will be no escape on the Day of Judgment. We will be asked and we have to answer each and every Question even if we don’t like to answer. Let’s prepare ourselves for the Day of Judgment. May Allah show us the right way (Amen).
