Spend in the way of Allah

Allah Almighty gives us a lot of blessings in this life. We should spend and distribute these blessings in the way of Allah Almighty. Whatever we spend in the way of Allah Almighty will be returned to us with manifold increase by Allah Almighty who is most loving and most bountiful.

In Quran E Hakeem it is said that:-

Whatever thing you expend, He will replace it.

“Say, 'Indeed, my Lord extends the provision unto whom He will of His slaves and restricts (it) for him. And, whatever thing you expend, He will replace it. He is the best of providers.”

It is a greatest virtue to spend in the way of Allah Almighty. When a person spends in the way of Allah Almighty he will attain a lot of benefits. The greatest benefit which a person attains is the true attachment with Allah Almighty. It is reality that a man’s hearts generally lays where his wealth is. He feels insecure when he hides his wealth at some place. But when a person spends in the way of Allah he feels secure. He knows that at the end this wealth will be returned to him with manifold increase.

We should be generous. We have a lot of bank balance, successful jobs and business. We should think for a moment that who has given us this successful life which is full of blessings. Off course Allah has given us all this. He can snatch all the things from us. So we should spend in the way of Allah to save it. When we spend in the way of Allah it’s like an investment. To love with your wealth is a disease. The cure of this disease is charity. When a person gives charity his hearth becomes free from worldly love.

It is said by Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) that:-

“A generous person is close to Allah, close to Paradise, close to people, and far from Hell. However, a miserly person is far from Allah, far from Paradise, far from people, but close to Hell. Allah loves more an ignorant man who is generous than a worshipper who is miserly.”

When we give sadaqa we should not expect anything or any favor from those who are the receiver. In Quran E Hakeem it is said that:-

“O you who believe, make not your charity worthless by reminders of your generosity, and by causing vexation.”

At another place it is said that:-

“And they feed, for the love of Allah, the indigent, the orphan, and the captive [saying], 'we feed you for the sake of Allah alone: No reward do we desire of you nor thank.”

So spend on your family and needy people. May Allah give us power live an ideal life. May Allah free our hearts from the love of worldly wealth and fill our hearts with your love. (Amen)
