Best times for making Dua

Dua is the important worship which makes the strong connection of man with Allah Almighty. Dua is a channel through which one can remains connected with Allah. The essence of the worship is Dua. Allah becomes happy when we make Dua. Allah listens to us wherever we are. There are certain specific hours in which Dua must be accepted as Holey Prophet (PBUH) told.

• The last part of the night
It is narrated by Hazrat Hurrairah (RA) that Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) said that:-
“In the last third of every night our Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer) (Allah (SWT)) descends to the lowermost heaven and says; "Who is calling me, so that I may answer him? Who is asking me so that may I grant him? Who is seeking forgiveness from me so that I may forgive him?”
At another place it is narrated by Hazrat Ibn E Absah that:-

“The closest any worshipper can be to His Lord is during the last part of the night, so if you can be amongst those who remember Allah at that time, then do so.”
• Between Azan and Iqamat
It is said by Holy Prophet (PBUH) that:-

"A Dua between Azan and the Iqamat is not refused, so make du'a at that time."
• In one hour of Friday
It is said by holy prophet (PBUH) that:-

"Friday has twelve periods. Among them is a period when no Muslim asks Allah for anything but He grants it to him. Search for that period late after 'Asr."

• While raining

When we make dua while raining it must be accepted. It is narrated by Sahel Ibn e Sa’ad that Holy Prophet (PBUH) said that:-

“Two will not be rejected, Supplication when the Adhan (call of prayer) is being called, and at the time of the rain”.

• Drinking Zamzum water

When someone makes dua while drinking Zamzum water the dua of that person is accepted. It is said by Holy Prophet (PBUH) that:-

“Zamzam water is for what it is drunk for.”

• After offering obligatory prayer

It is narrated by Hazrat Abu Umamah(RA) that:-

“Allah’s Messenger (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) was asked, O Messenger of Allah, which supplication is heard (by Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala), he said the end of the night and at the end of the obligatory Salat”.

• During Sajda

When a person makes dua during Sajda his dua never rejected because in sajda he is very close to Allah. It is said by Holy Prophet (PBUH) that:-

The servant is closest to his Lord while in sujud, so ask Allah in that time."

• In the night of Qadar
It is the greatest night which is better than thousand months. Ask for forgiveness in this night.

• During fasting or travelling
It is said by Holy Prophet (PBUH) that:-

"Three types of du'a are undoubtedly granted: a parent's du'a for his children, du'a of a fasting person, and du'a of the traveller."

So these are some hours according Ahadith in which Dua is must accepted. Make Dua in these hours and develop the good connection between you and Allah Almighty. May Allah tell us the right way of Dua (Amen).
