Beautiful Verses and Ahadith on Etiquettes of Speech

As Islam is a complete code of life and tells its followers that how they should behave and act in daily routine. Allah Almighty sent his book to provide guide to us. He sent many messengers to deliver his message. Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) was sent to deliver the message of Allah Almighty. We can find the guide from Quran E Hakeem and from Ahadith too. . Speech is very much important to survive in a society and for speech one must know about the etiquettes of speech. Our beloved Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) told us about the etiquettes of speech. Beautiful verses of Quran E Hakeem and Ahadith of Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) are given below which tells us that how we should speak.

 

1. In Quran E Hakeem It Is Said That:

Be modest in your walk, and lower your voice.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Be modest in your walk, and lower your voice. Surely, the most unpleasant of voices is the voice of the donkeys. Have you not seen that Allah has subjected to you whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth; and has completed His blessings on you: (both) outwardly and inwardly? Yet among the people there is such a one who disputes about Allah without knowledge, or guidance, or an illuminating Book.”

 


2. At Another Place It Is Said That:

And those who witness not falsehood. And (who), when they pass by the futile, pass by with dignity

 

 

“And those who witness not falsehood. And (who), when they pass by the futile, pass by with dignity.”

 


3. It Is Said By Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) That:

“He who gave up disputing while he is right, a palace of high rank in Paradise will be built for him. He who gave up disputing while he is a fabricator, a palace in the center of Paradise will be built for him.”

 

 

4. At Another Place It Is Said By Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) That:

“The believer does not defame, abuse, disparage, nor vilify.”

 

 

5. It Is Said By Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) That:

“Ward off the Fire even if by giving half a date in charity. If you could not afford that then utter a kind word.”

 

 

6. It Is Narrated By Hazrat Anas (RA) That:

“Verily there are chambers in Paradise; their insides and outsides can be seen – for him who spoke kindly and fed (the hungry).”

 

7. Beloved Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) Said That:

“The one initiating abuse incurs the sin of abusing as long as the other did not return it.”

So as a Muslim we should keep in mind these verses and Ahadith related to speech and we should speak accordingly. May Allah show us the right way and give us the power to say good things to others in a best way (Amen)!
