“And appointed for him extensive wealth. And sons, present. And prepared for him ample comfort. Yet he is eager that I should grant (him) more.”

All these Ayaat indicate that man has long been greedy naturally, and offers wished for in excess of it must own. No ponder why the entire world is continually moving towards increased acquisitiveness. The Religious beliefs of Peace greatly emphasizes within the importance involving adopting moderation in each and every matter regarding life. The Sunnah from the Holy Prophet ﷺ indicates that a Muslim must restrain by indulging throughout avaricious affairs in order that it does not necessarily become egotistical and just forget about its actual reason for existence on earth.

Here is a complete guideline for Muslims which tells you that what attitude a Muslim should adopt toward worldly affairs.

1. Live like a stranger

Any foreign particular person knows that no have to settle permanently inside the distant put it is browsing. It lives like a guest as well as misses its country or even region. Same way, all individuals are sent by the Creator in the Universe these days as immigrants that have to travel back to their true destination. A real Muslim believes with this fact and is aware of the short-term nature connected with worldly living.

It is narrated by Hazrat Abdullah BIN Umar (RA) that:-

“The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took hold of my shoulders and said, “Be in this life as a stranger or a passerby. When evening comes, do not expect (to live till) morning, and when morning comes, do not expect (to live till) evening. Take from your health (a preparation) for your illness and from your life for your death.”

The above mentioned stated Hadith allows basic guideline for each Muslim about how precisely it should go on the top of earth. Acting like a passerby shows that one need to its living as simple. And the moment a Muslim features that mentality, it helps in abstaining from a myriad of possessions and immorality.

2. Live a moderate life

Islam doesn't say that certain should reside simple life towards extent it goes here we are at Stone Age, rather the item only strains on having a modest life so that the greed as well as lust to getting a lot more may not necessarily make one to forget regarding its actual, i.e. hereafter.
In Quran E Hakeem it is said that:-

And do good (to others) as Allah has done you good, and seek not corruption in the land.

“But seek through what Allah has given you the Final Abode; and forget not your share of the world. And do good (to others) as Allah has done you good, and seek not corruption in the land. Surely, Allah does not approve of the corrupters.”

3. Face the hardship with patience and say thanks to Allah

The meaning of life is to face hardships in this world. The instances of distress and adversity are merely a source of seeing whether or not one remains patient with this strict instance, and remains steadfast upon its religion. The pleasures with this world will also be a means of glancing whether or not someone is grateful towards the Almighty during this time of delight and remembers Their Name or maybe not. It is narrated by Hazrat Anas BIN Malik that Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) said that:-

“The most privileged people in the world from the people of the Hellfire will come on the Day of Resurrection to be dipped in the Hellfire, and then it will be said: O son of Adam! Did you see any good? Did you get any blessing? He will say: No, by Allah, my Lord! Then the most miserable people in the world from the people of Paradise will come on the Day of Resurrection to be dipped in the Paradise, and then it will be said: O son of Adam! Did you see any hardship? Did you have any distress? He will say: No, by Allah, my Lord! I did not once see hardship or distress.”

4. Recite Holy Quran and understand It

Quran E Hakeem is a reminder from Allah Almighty. This book continuously reminds us that we should prepare ourselves for the next world. We will come to know about the ideal way of life when we will read and understand Quran E Hakeem. IN Quran E Hakeem Allah Almighty has said that:-

And the life of this world is no more than an amusement and play

“And the life of this world is no more than an amusement and play. Surely, the Abode of the Hereafter, it indeed is the (true) life – only if they knew.”

So a Muslim should keep in mind that, this life is for short term. We should act like a passenger here who is travelling toward the specific point. When we will reach at that point never ended life will start and in that life we get the reward of whatever we did during travel. May Allah make us able to live an ideal life in this world according to the teaching of Islam (Amen)!
